Dew Puff Review

Dew Puff graciously sent me a few of their konjac sponges to review. Dew Puff sponges are 100% plant based with only one ingredient - konjac root - aka elephant yam, or kon-nyaku in Japanese.

Dew Puff Original - ($7.00)

I cleanse with just water and my konjac sponge in the AM. It exfoliates just enough to get any dead skins cells my skin may have shed in the night off of my face and leaves my otherwise tired, dull, dehydrated skin looking polished, bright and feeling INCREDIBLY SOFT. This is the key, right here - I have NEVER felt my skin this soft before Konjac. It's like silk. I highly recommend using the konjac sponge with water alone in the AM.. get the grime off at night and this is all you'll need. Of course it can also be used with a cleanser.

  • Unscented konjac sponge
  • Cleans skin without chemicals
  • Helps keep skin hydrated
  • 100% chemical free.

  • Just add water to use.

  • Dew Puff Bamboo Charcoal - ($7.00)

I will never be without a Konjac sponge. The charcoal one is supposed to help oily skin, and I have been pleasantly surprised. It feels really nice on my skin and makes it so smooth without being too harsh.

The Bamboo Charcoal natural sponge contains activated carbon and minerals to help prevent breakouts, plus antioxidants to fight acne-causing bacteria. This konjac sponge is soothing and helps fight blemished skin.

  • Super soft konjac sponge.
  • Gentle enough for everyday skin care
  • Cleans, exfoliates and refreshes your skin.
  • Natural sponge to help keep skin hydrated
  • 100% chemical free natural sponge

  • Just add water to use.

  • Dew Puff Asian Clay - ($7.00)

Does it deep cleanse your skin? No. Is it a fab product? Yes! I was a little skeptical with this sponge until I got and tried one. I'm not sure if there are significant differences between the sponges but I'm loving the red clay one so far. The sponge has a funny, slightly slimy feel to it and will leave a slightly moisturizing feel on your skin. It's great to use with a cleanser, for removing masks or just by itself. It's not scratchy at all so if you need a gentle exfoliater, try the sponge. It leaves my skin soft and lovely and I'll definitely buy another one when this one is done. It's not a miracle product that gets rid of every single flaw on your face but something really good for every day use and as a part of your cleansing routine. I'd definitely recommend this especially if you have problematic (dry, oily, acne etc) skin and need a little oomph in your cleansing routine that won't irritate. Just remember to keep the sponge clean and dry when not in use!
