The most important hallmark of Silver model is an LCD display on the back side, which will be absent in Black Edition version.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for Silver Hero should be $399 and Hero 4 Black should cost $499, that is an acceptable price for the both GoPro cameras.
