They are very bendable and I can easily use two to grab out a 9x13 casserole out of the oven without burning my hand and the best part is that I don't have to wash them in the washer every night. Also I usually have to ask my husband to open the spaghetti sauce bottle and other bottles but not anymore, this is a great bottle opener for those tight lids. If they get dirty they're easy to just wipe off or throw in the dishwasher. They work exactly like intended so I'm pleased.
