The canvas does give it a vintage look and overall I do like the way it feels. I'm also confident I probably won't run into someone with the same looking bag. This backpack is very well made and is exactly as described. If something happened to this one, I would replace it immediately with the same one. Perfect size for a day pack. This bag is great due to its ruggedness and numerous compartments. I also like the neutral tone... most laptop bags are either black, or some flowery design.
