This is a really nice strand of lights. The LED lights are very bright and energy efficient. We have a back porch trellis we have always wanted to wrap tiny golden lights around....we had to install a new outdoor double light socket but that took WAY less time than hanging the three sets of lights in this set. I was pleasantly surprised by these lights. The strand for these lights is a thin, bendable metal wire which is strong enough to create letters or shapes. The wire is thin but sturdy, and the light bulbs are small enough to perfectly blend into whatever shapes you make. They are bright enough to light up a room, yet provide a soft, romantic light.
