Number One Probiotic Review
Number One Nutrition kindly gave me this bottle of Advanced Probiotic for review.
In the heat of the Nebraska summer, I tend to veg out. It’s too hot for much walking; it’s even too hot for a nice bike ride. So my digestion slows down even though I try to eat right. Here’s a good answer to my problem: Advanced Probiotic.
This supplement offers a whopping eight friendly bacterium. The instructions say to take two a day, but I’ve found that, while two is over much for my system, one does the trick. Bloating goes away, and life is good. Probiotics are also helpful in maintaining a healthy immune system, but you’re not going to see much of an improvement day by day. You will experience a difference in digestion after only one dose.
This supplement is made in the USA, but it is manufactured in a plant that also handles soy products and tree nuts, so super sensitive individuals should read the ingredients and instructions before proceeding. These products don’t bother me, and the supplement does me good.
If you've been told to take probiotics, if you experience a sluggish digestion, try this supplement. It works!
FIVE STARS! I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Beauty Box 5 - August 2014
Beauty Box 5
Cost: $12/month
Look what came today! As always, my BB5 arrived before I got the tracking email for it. And as always, BB5 is the first box of the month to show up at my door! And this month looks good!
I have seen these in other subscription boxes and I have been wanting to try them so I'm excited that I finally got some in one of my boxes!
I love getting lip products in my boxes! This is a pretty color, but I'm not too sure if it's right for me. I tend to go more towards the pinks and reds so it may get traded.
I have sooooo much nail polish thanks to subscription boxes. I have a few colors similar to this so I will be giving this to my friend, who fell in love with the color!
MORE SUNSCREEN.....I know it's summertime and whatnot, but enough of the sunscreen already. It's in EVERY BOX.... :/
Interesting concept... anti-aging hair serum? "Instantly younger looking hair"? Hmmm... Not too sure if this is really something that I need.
Overall, I am very pleased with my Beauty Box 5 this month. Always worth the $12 price.
Body & Soul Beauty Review - Pt. 1 (Shampoo and Conditioner)
Body Soul Beauty kindly provided me with some lovely goodies to review today!
Wow! 4 full size products!
Daily Lather Shampoo - $14.99
A lot of shampoos leave my hair feeling as if all the natural oils have been stripped from my hair and leave it brittle and frizzy (even with conditioners and hair products), this stuff just makes my hair feel soft and clean, and it's super tame, no frizz! My daughter has curly hair that easily tangles, I have to saturate her hair in conditioner and leave in before brushing it becomes manageable. I tried this stuff and she didn't whine once while I was brushing. My husband uses it too and he says nothing has made his hair feel so good as this shampoo does. We have the conditioner to go with it. This has just become the staple for our household, and not badly priced for an natural hair care system.
Rebuilding Conditioner - $14.99
I love this conditioner and the matching shampoo! It's lightweight, but also keeps my hair moisturized enough, which is no easy task - I have fine (thin strands), but thick (a LOT of them) hair, so it tends to get weighted down and fall flat...but it also dries out easily...but it also looks greasy within a day of not washing. Super annoying!
Body Soul Beauty products NEVER contain sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, dyes, harsh chemicals, parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, or propylene.
SPECIAL OFFER: Valid through the end of August, Body Soul is offering FREE SHIPPING if you use the code "FREESHIPAUG"

Clearly Natural Essentials - Glycerin Soap Review
Clearly Natural Essentials graciously provided me with this package of goodies to review for you.

Made with only premium, quality natural ingredients, the Clearly Natural line of products offers a natural, environmentally friendly way to care for your body.

Made with only premium, quality natural ingredients, the Clearly Natural line of products offers a natural, environmentally friendly way to care for your body.
I like this soap. I can use the unscented version as a body bar without it irritating my very sensitive skin or causing it to break out. I can't use it on my face, but I've never found a bar that I could, so I wouldn't hold that against it too much. The only drawback it has is that it's not really strong enough to properly clean underarms. I just use another soap for that when I'm in the shower, but that's kind of cumbersome, so it keeps the Clearly Natural from being perfect. Plus, if I forget to use the other soap and wash my underarms with the glycerin bar instead, it gives me a bit of BO for the day. Not really bad, just not what you'd want.
The Aloe Vera version smells really fresh and clean. These soaps leave me feeling fresh and soft. I even use them on my face and they work wonderfully. Fantastic product. This cleanses very well, rinses clean and leaves my face feeling and looking great with no irritation or dryness. As well as various scents, this bar also comes unscented. For the price ($1.99), this is a great buy.
Each soap is soooo gentle and moisturizing, yet cleans well. I usually can't use bar soaps because i find even the moisturizing varieties to be drying. These however, leave my skin feeling so soft and smelling heavenly. I have even used this on my face to great effect (and I am soooo picky about what I use on my dry sensitive face). I believe it retails for under $2 a bar which is so much less expensive than other glycerin soaps of this caliber.
Clearly Natural Glycerin soaps do not contain parabens, petroleum-based ingredients or animal ingredients or by-products.
Also, as a partner with Clean The World, proceeds from every Clearly Natural purchase goes to help support efforts towards saving millions of lives around the globe through the distribution of recycled soap and hygiene products.
It also comes in Honeysuckle, Rainforest, Jasmine, Lemon, Peppermint, Berry, Green Apple, Lemongrass Basil, French Lavender, Almond and Tea Tree. I'm really excited to try the Honeysuckle and Rainforest.
Be sure to check out Clearly Natural Essentials and pick up some great natural soaps!
**I will post a review on the body lotion and shampoo / conditioner soon.

Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter Review + Giveaway
Wow! This is great. I bought it for my feet because I was tired of buying brand name, over scented shea butters and body butters, like from Victoria's Secret and The Body Shop and Bath and Body Works. I wanted something that works as well as Shea but without all the perfume, so I tried this. I must say this is amazing.
This is the thing one has to realize about 100% natural shea butter. In order to get the best effects from it, it needs to be either smoothed out (creamed) or melted to soften. (place in a microwave oven on medium to low temperature in a glass bowl, constantly stirring it until it is creamy. If you don't get the desired consistency you would like for your hair or skin type, mix in a small amount of coconut oil -- also use 100% coconut oil-- in with it so that you can get that whipped creamy feeling) This will help with your hair. Also, place the shea butter on your hair before you take a shower and let the steam penetrate the butter through your scalp and you will notice the difference.
This product works great for removing skin peels/burns (it worked for me overnight, which was so surprising and amazing). It works pretty good when it comes to lightening scars (but doesn't fade them). I don't remember how it works for hair (i think it was passable on my hair). I never tried it for cooking, so i don't know how it tastes with food.
For the price, the amount your getting is a pretty good deal. Plus this stuff is hard as dry clay, so you can either put in a really warm room (helps it melt a little), microwave it (but might kill some of the good ingredients in it), or put the container in a pot and fill it with warm/hot water. I sometimes just use it dry like it is (although it requires hard digging with your fingers lol). The smell doesn't bother me, i actually like smells like that (ex: sharpies, whiteouts, gasoline etc..). It's hard for me to find a rating for it because it works great in some areas, and horrible in others.

Australian Tea Tree Oil Review
I absolutely adore tea tree oil. It is a great disinfectant and it really helps to relieve pain, reduce redness and inflammation and clean out the pores. Used daily, it helps prevent future breakouts, but it's not for everyone. Everyone's skin is different and reacts differently to different products, you just have to try it and stick with it. You can't use it for one day and expect to see drastic results. Use any product you try for at least 3-4 weeks to notice any change. You have to be patient.
Always moisturize after using tea tree oil and you should never have problems with dryness. Dryness can also be from over-using it. Apply small amounts and only twice daily. Less is more. You don't need to slather it on. You won't see results any faster, you'll just dry out your skin!
Really the only thing is the smell. I like it but I guess it can get to some people. The smell wears off later though!

Raspberry Ketones Review
Raspberry Ketones
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Raspberry ketones were featured on the Dr. Oz show back in 2012 and have since then been very popular all over the world. Dr. Oz seemed very enthusiastic and called them “the number one miracle in a bottle.”
Raspberry ketones are claimed to cause the fat within cells to be broken down more effectively, helping the body burn fat faster. They are also claimed to increase levels of adiponectin, a hormone that helps to regulate metabolism.
Following the instructions on the bottle, I take 2 capsules 15 minutes before each meal. If I don't eat within those 15 minutes, I get really jittery and anzious from the methylxanthine in the pills. It's like a mainline of caffeine. Good for weight loss and productivity, bad for feeling jittery and anxious. However, I have been able to cut out caffeine from my diet completely without the setback of headahes....so, give a little get a little.
For two weeks I have taken 500g Raspberry ketones and so far I do feel my clothing is looser. The jury is still out as I have a 60 day supply and I plan to take them all. I will report back when I am finished and let you know my results.
