They are soft, not hard like many cheaper ones. Say goodbye to trying to get stains out of fabric bibs! Just wipe off or throw in dishwasher. They're really expensive for what you're getting, but I think avoiding the hassle of changing outfits and cleaning up with a regular bib makes it worthwhile.
