If you take note of the directions, space your seeds appropriately, and have some basic gardening sense, you won't have to buy the overpriced herbs at the market in sizes that you usually can't finish and have to throw away. How much easier is it to while cooking your meal go outside, pick what you need, and bring some brilliance to your food? Most of these sprouted within a week or two of planting them. I haven't harvested anything yet as the growth period is around 2 months for most of them, but I can't wait to have fresh herbs within reach!
