So far so good. It takes a little bit of practice. I've had the best accuracy by holding the button down waiting about 3 or so clicks (while moving across the forehead) and then releasing. We also found that it needs to be about an inch from the forehead. Anyhow this product is great and very accurate.  I like how big the display screen is and how easy it is to work.  I would recommend this to everyone as all households should have this thermometer, it's perfect for babies, kids, teens, and even adults.
