This is adorable!!  The dinosaur has a convenient, built-in compartment for storing the discs, when not in use. My nephew's (ages 3, 5, & 7) were also in love with this toy, in fact they also kept fighting over who was going to play with it first. The projection works great, its easy to focus it with the arm of the T-rex and the on/off button is easy to use. The projector works great and displays pictures on the wall well. 

 

I consider this a rather expensive toy gift but it growls very well and does as the product described. It is well worth the money spent. If I had to say one slight negative regarding the product description, "uses 3 AA batteries" doesn't exactly make it clear that the 3 batteries are NOT included.

  

I do believe that this toy would be perfect for any dinosaur lover in your life.
