I cannot express how much I love Vitamin C Serum. My skin feels softer, clearer, younger, firmer, and looks better. The fine lines are my forehead are more faint than before.  I find the product easy to apply because it has a little dropper in the lid. After removing the lid, I place a drop or two on my index finger and gently massage the product onto my face. This serum smells good and goes on my skin really nice.  It's not sticky and does not leave my skin greasy. It dries fairly quickly. I am very satisfied with this product.

One of the things that just amazes me after I have used this at night is how smooth my skin is, even the next morning.  I don’t find ANY uneven skin or dry patches anywhere. My skin is more radiant and youthful since using. There really isn't any noticeable scent. What is even more impressive to me is the price.

This is a fabulous product. Keeps the little dry patches covered many, many hours of the day. It works, does exactly what it says. Its effective and very emollient,  Especially for dryness/creepiness under eyes. Other firming creams made my eye area way to dry, which accentuate fine lines.

I am really impressed with this product.  It avoids giving me jitters but really boosts my energy for the endurance of a long workout.  I don't have too much fat to lose but the little fat I do have is melting away. Great product. It's not magic, I work my tail off everyday, and you must too. I HIGHLY recommend this product. Definitely a supplement I would by more of in the future. You will sweat, you will drop weight like crazy, and you will just go go go!

So Susan Lip Love Box - February 2015

So Susan is a BRAND NEW (February was the first launch bag), UK based subscription box. The cost is $15.95 for US subscribers (check website for international prices). Each bag features 3 FULL SIZED lip products and some bonus goodies. So Susan is also Cruelty Free!

The February launch box theme is "The Red Carpet Collection"

The information card lists all the items and prices, as well as the overall bag value. This bag has a $93 value!

First off, how darling is this bag?? It is a heavy duty canvas bag with a nice sturdy zipper.  So pretty!

So Susan Cheek Jelly - ($12.00)

I am not usually a fan of stains, and looking at the color in the tube, I was a little unsure of this, bt it blends out quite nicely!

So Susan Lip Dome in "Melon" - ($12.00)

The lip dome is a fat lip crayon in a beautiful nude-y color. I love the packaging on all of the boxes. Makes me want to keep them!

Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain - ($25.00)

Really, I just love all the boxes! This is a super cute little lip quad with beautiful colors, I will definitely use all of them!

Jelly Pong Pong Undetectable Concealer - ($31.00)

The card says this is supposed to be a concealer quad (which I did see some girls got) but my bag only had a concealer single.

Red Carpet Stars Silver Anklet Chain - ($13.00)

Saved the best for last. How gorgeous is this anklet??  I can't actually find this item for sale on the So Susan website, but the value on the card is listed at $13.



Overall: LOVE THIS BOX!! I am so impressed at the quality of the items included, and the price and value that you get, is simply amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this box (err, bag)!!

Plus, one additional picture... Anyone who has gotten subscription boxes before, or any sort of makeup in the mail, knows how important this is....

Each item came individually bubble wrapped within the bag! No broken makeup quads here!!

Oh, Birchbox. The one that started it all for me. Birchbox is $10/month, and delivers 4-6 beauty products, mostly sample sized or deluxe sized, to your door. Birchbox also offers a points system, where you earn points for referring friends and reviewing products in your box, that you can redeem for full sized items of your choice in the Birchbox shop.

Strivectin Instant Retexturizing Scrub - ($29.00)

I've heard so many good things about this brand, but haven't had a chance to try this yet so I'm happy that it came in this box! 

Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray - ($24.00)

I don't normally blow dry my hair (crazy things happen when I do...), so I probably won't use it in that manner, but it does say that it can be used on dry hair as a heat protectant / light hold mist. I have used the Amika Dry shampoo from Birchbox in the past, and while I was not super impressed with that product, I will give this one a shot.

No. 4 Clarifying Shampoo - ($32.00)

I am a big fan of No. 4, I love their heat protectant spray. However, I just don't personally use the sample sized shampoos and conditioners I get in my boxes (of any brand). I just have soooo much hair (super long and super thick) that this will literally be a one-time use item.  I usually give these to my mother-in-law, who can get 2-3 uses from them, and loves testing out new shampoos.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint - ($40.00)

$40 for tinted moisturizer? Oil-free, SPF 20, with Ginseng and Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract. Hypoallergenic. Noncomedogenic. Fragrance Free. Perfect for all skin types.

Cargo Swimmables Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabos - ($26.00)

I love this little tin this came in! I hardly ever, (like, EVER) wear blush though, so I'm not sure if I will actually use this, or if I will find another home for it. But the tin is cute!! 

Overall: This was an ok box. I feel like, for $10 it was worth it. Will I use everything in it? No. But I do feel I got my money's worth and all the items will find loving homes (if not mine).
